It's true that money doesn't buy class.

But it is also true that people with Camry budget who thought buying an E60 M5 is a great idea are also more likely to not take care of them like they should than someone who's used to buying and owning BMW's.

This is true with all used M cars. Most become unmitigated disasters with 10 owners and crooked valve cover bolts and valve adjustment never performed in the last 5 years (for example). This is also why after a while, a nice, well maintained, and low owner count, low mile M cars start to hold their value again. Like what is happening with the E39 M5.

 

Someone probably says the same thing about you and your 996 TT.
What do you want? Its America, people like new stuff.
It is not the same case in most countries, i can tell you that much.
