Thanks for the write up. I'm also planning to do this on my car. It's driving me nuts! I have the bushings ready, just need to find time to do it!

Did the passenger side today in half the time. It helps having good quality sanding paper and latex gloves.

Now that its been serviced, has a new stereo and the seats don't rock, I'll be driving it as often as I can while the weather is cool..

Must say, this was one of the most satisfying DIY projects I've done.. not the biggest (changed the entire suspension of my Mini Cooper S Works to coilovers by myself), but its definitely the most rewarding..
