The official debut of Project Kaiser has been long over due. With its introduction back in October 2011, Project Kaiser has gone through a 180 degree transformation.
Starting with its exterior, one of the most subtle yet extreme differences is the carbon fiber roof. The 1M unlike its bigger brother the M3 does not come with a carbon fiber roof from factory. It would’ve been easier to lay a sheet of carbon fiber vinyl but the result would not have been the same. We took a leap and went ahead and cut off the factory roof to replace it with a lighter Revosport carbon fiber roof.
Revosport had designed a very unique styling package for the 1M that we could not ignore. The two piece carbon fiber front lip allows for three levels of adjustability depending on the amount of downforce needed. Some of the other pieces include a carbon fiber diffuser, carbon fiber side skirts, carbon fiber mirror caps, carbon fiber trunk, and a carbon fiber vented hood. The hood and trunk have been body color matched for a cleaner look.
With the idea of weight savings in mind, we had to select a strong, light and visually appealing wheel. The P40 design from HRE is a classic that has proven itself to be the choice for both racing and street cars. Pairing the wheels with a set of Michellin PS2***8242;s, we could ensure there was enough grip for all of 1M’s power. A set of KW V3 coilovers allowed Project Kaiser to fine tune its suspension to maximize its full potential.
