My buddy and his fam have an 08 and an 09 m3, i prefer the 09 over the 08 just for the updated idrive its much better imho.

the car is a great car, love the balance and power, and if you ever get bored of the hp there are so many mods you can get for the car.

i would check out e90post and go to the m3 section, lots of info and the have an FS section where you can get some ideas of price and whats out there.

if i was in the market, i would try and get the extended 100k mile service warranty from the dealership if it is available
