E46 M3 - The new daily driver
Just updating what was in the purchases thread. I got a big brother for the E36 M3. The car is filthy from the 1000km trip and the weather has been too bad to wash it.
The car is a 2001 E46 M3 with 87000km. Carbon Black on Imola Red leather. I bought it from the second owner, who had it for 7 years. Been looking for one of these for a year.
Its not perfect, but I intend to make it that way. Just needs some spray work as the front is sandblasted, and there is some dodgy paint on the rear quarter. Interior drivers grab handle is abit worn too, so will look at trying to source a carbon fibre/aluminium trim, or might just 3M DiNoc it.
Anyway here are some pics.

The seats are in surprisingly good condition considering the age. Some mild stretching and foam degradation, but otherwise all there. Leather is also a little dry, so will give it a once over with the RaceGlaze leather treatment this weekend.
