That's alright, but it's too exclusive for what it is, and the 1M is more appealing.

 

I hope it's not like the 6MT in the E60 M5. I've driven it and it's a POS.
The shifter is as limp as a 90 yr. old's penis and the clutch felt like sticking your foot in whip cream ... LAME.

^I couldn't agree more. My dad had a 6MT e60 M5 and we both hated it. It was like they put absolutely no R&D into putting the S85 together with that gearbox. I think that BMW learned it's lesson and is truly testing this time. At least I hope that's so as my pops has spec'd his F10 M5 with the 6MT.

I know you are something of a youngster, but hop off of the Porsche tit. I could take you down a couple of my local roads in my M3 and blow your mind, and that's with my dog in the back seat and a trunk full of golf clubs. Get a driver's license and you'll understand...hopefully.

 

The 6MT was purely for the whining US customers! ROW didn't have that option, the E60 was designed around 7 speed SMG.

I was more generalizing the brand. All of the M cars are absolutely great. The new 1er, the 5er GT, the X3, 6er 7er, and X6 are all just disgusting cars to look at. Their designs are just terrible. The M3, 1M, and M5 are all exceptions to this rule. Even though their M cars are getting uglier, they aren't getting uglier any where near as fast as the other cars. Just my two cents.
