It has totally been a pleasure following this thread! Great work Clubber!

The attention to detail has been meticulous all the way down to the washer fluid bottle cap being cleaned over and over...

Can't wait to see more!

Thumbs up The dakar yellow MC shoe!

The paint looks so crispy and buttery smooth - like she just rolled off the line. It's been a lot of fun following your thread, Can! The guys at your local club will love the MC shoe! Enjoy it in good health.

Is this going to be your daily driver? Do you anticipate adding any other performance mods - coilover suspension, rear wheel spacers, stainless brake lines? This is one of the few BMWs that looks almost perfect from the factory.

Absolutely fantastic end results! One of my favorite threads on TS of all time.

Anything you might be planning to do further down the road?

Clubber, would you mind PM'ing me the mileage of your car? Just curious as to what extent of wear and tear you had to deal with to rectify.

thanks Misha,It was equally fun doing it. BMW Car Club Turkey members would like it I am sure.
This is not a daily driver. One for the garage and track work. So for I want to keep it stock but adter my ring trip to M festival this summer we'll see if it needs any updates . SS brake and clutch lines are coming next week.

She is 135.000km Mike but runs like new now. I am sure yours will be in much better condition to begin with.

Keep watching guys, today we spent 5 hours for an amazing photoshoot. Should be ready in a couple of days.

^ with that mileage - it is even more remarkable that you go it to look the way it does now! Well done! Did any of the bushings/ball joints need to be replaced?

Mine is starting to become a bit of a garage queen as of late, haven't had the time to drive them properly. I think the car has 25,000km now.

Thanks Mike, It was such a rare car here in Turkey that I grabbed the first one for sale, regardless of the mileage. After a bit of resto job, you forget the mileage.
I replaced engine mount bushings, diff mount bushing, control arm bushings so yes, basically all rubber joints were replaced.
It is about time, you showed us your car too. 25K KM ? Wow !
