How is the M3 Dual-Clutch transmission?

I also had a DCT M3. It really is a great transmission. Very user friendly and incredibly fast.

In your opinions, at what point does a dual-clutch become preferable to a manual and in what environment is a manual better than a dual-clutch? Is there a certain amount of stoplights in a daily commute that warrants selecting an automanual over manual?
