Nice to see they integrated the I-drive screen so seamlessly into the dashboard.

EuroToy is an unknown quantity at this point
Does anyone know when these will hit U.S. dealers? Hopefully my dealer has some kind of unveil party.

Great pics! Thanks for sharing.

They should start showing up at dealers this spring. They usually get a demo for the manager to drive before the customers cars start coming in. Official production starts in May. No doubt the 1 M will be popular and BMW already has a lot of orders in and ready to go.

I happen to feel the 1 M reasonably and fairly priced with a base of $47,010. A base 2011 135i starts at $39,925 including destination. You're basically getting a BMW M3 chassis with a nonadjustable tuned Competition Package suspension packed under a mean looking 1-Series body with better aerodynamics and a unique interior. Of course options like ZCV Convenience Package (iDrive navigation...) ZPP Premium Package (power front seats, ambient lighting, auto dimming mirrors, bluetooth, usb port iPod...) will put you over $50. But those are not must-have options. Think of this as a comparison. A new 335is coupe (same engine as 1 M coupe) starts at $50,150. A new M3 coupe starts at $58,900. And that's without destination and gas guzzler. Then throw some options into those bad boys, and they're up to 60 to 70 plus thousand.

Dana, get one for your son.

I would love a black one if I had to choose. I love the new thick led light bars in the tail light.
