considering m6 convertible 6 speed.... pros/cons

i currently own a 2004 745i and a 2005 porsche turbo convertible.

LOVE THE 7 SERIES! best car ever made!
the porsche is awesome.. but ill get my license suspended before long i really have a feeling.

for those who own or have driven the m6 convertible, whats your assessment of the car?

it's an awesome car. i highly recommend the SMG though. It is much better suited to the car and engine.

Don't have any first hand experience, but I do remember hearing more than once that the manual tranny felt like it was better matched to the car...

Just food for thought.
