Personally i think you should get a Superformance Daytona Coupe - they are local and could turbo a V8 block for you for an extreme machine.
I would be modifying the internals as well. I'm not a huge fan of the Superformance vehicles. They are great cars, just not my type of thing. Plus everybody here does those kind of conversions as it's the cheapest and easiest.

I don't think I could go either, apparently those kits won't work for RHD vehicles. Please correct me if I'm wrong. That is why I said there is a local guy that does it.

You can't compare the quality of work here to the guys Stateside. He is probably one of the most highly recommended for these type of conversions on the E46 locally.

Edit: I just checked HPF's website. I see they do infact have kits for RHD cars now! The price is the downside $25k - after shipping and duties. The parts before labour will be already 50k - so that is a no go option. Doesn't make sense to pay more for the parts than I will for an entire car

Wow, that is perfect. I was also thinking of the Vorsteiner Race Bonnet and CSL trunk lid. With the CSL front and rear bumpers.

What about shoving an Audi RS4 engine in the engine in the Exige and TT it? A conversion with an Audi engine was famously done and it looked like a shitload of fun!

I don't usually post much on here but thought I'd chime in with some help. I've had the opportunity to check out first hand the quality of work from HPF. I live about 10 minutes away from them. I've actually spoken to Chris who took the time to explain why their kit differed from the others. I would highly suggest just saving for this kit. You will be happier in the end. If you need more proof have fun watching this...

Cheers and good luck with whichever route you go.

Maybe Jox should get one of these for his journey:

I saw that Lotus thread a month or two back. Apparently they even offer the ZR1's engine for it

Thanks for that post. I have no doubt their quality of work is one of the best I've seen from an aftermarket company. However, like I said - the kit with current exchange rates, I could almost buy a new E92 M3 with another 10k added on top of that. That's just to bring in the kit ALONE! No installations costs even included.
