GT-R vs GTI

Just for parking spots
Needed a fun car for long commutes and Picked up this mk6 GTI w/autobahn pkg. What a great riding and handling car, avg 28mpg so far. I promised myself, no mods for the commuter

Congrats! The new GTIs are seriously good looking. Did you get rid of the Outie?

Love the car; hate the wheels. I think VW needs re think those wheels.

But man, I love the GTi. Such a cool car.

They would indeed look awful in a wheel catalogue - but they work surprisingly well with the car! Sort of like the 928 phone dial wheels.

ahhh ya! Thats right!

But isnt this wheel, which has been in production for a bit too long, like, a take off on the old scirocco tear drop wheels?

Time for a new wheel. Some Volks would look hot on that car!

Wow, I'm really impressed with the new GTI. Especially in terms of interior quality. Congrats and enjoy!

Does anyone know if the new GTIs are still available with the plaid inserts for the seats?

The new GTIs still have the plaid insterts standard, but it looks like Dave went with the leather option.
