Yes I did, I needed a good commuter I can put serious miles on that's good on gas while still fun to drive.

Does anyone know if the new GTIs are still available with the plaid inserts for the seats?
The Plaid interior is std, I got the Autobahn pkg, which gives you leather seats and keyless Start etc.

I kinda like them, think about running snow tires with them and then maybe a set of BBS in the spring That doesn't count as a mod right ?

Dave - we follow the same path again... I'm on my 2nd GTI (my commuter/snow car). They are excellent - really fun to drive, economical without being cheap, etc. Once I burn the stock A/S tires off, I'll put winters on the stockers and do BBS CH-Rs for summer.

As usual, congrats on another wise choice!

Thanks Chris. I really enjoy driving the GTI, I was looking into the BBS CH-Rs also and maybe a Supersprint catback

I like the GTi's good car, I drove the R32 really liked it as well. I've driven an MK5 GTi back in 2006, not bad its quiet fast.
