Lexus Exec's are on drugs....

I saw a billboard for that car today, with just its name, a photo and a pricetag.
This has nothing to do about the car, which can be 100K-good, 200K-good or whatever they are actually charging-good. That's beside the point. This is just a PR stunt for them - it won't matter if they sell 10 or all of these cars. They've just broadcasted to the world that they can charge a certain amount of money for something. Which, in a world only a few of us understand, means that they can justify a whole other price tag on anything. As a media strategist, I am waiting to see how this turns out but am leaning towards genius move, but as a consumer and a car nut, I have just two words for them - stupid and fawkers.

I read that all 165 LF-A's staying in Japan have already been spoken for.
Report: All 165 Lexus LFA supercars earmarked for Japan already spoken for; Autoblog
I'm not quite sure how the whole leasing thing will go over in the U.S. though...

Everyone has been negative about this car, mainly concerning the price issue.
I think, we could be in for a big surprise.
Afterall, some people still paid $1.5 Million for this crap below, no? 3 times the cost than the normal 62S.

But that's a different story. The Maybach name has been synonymous with ultra-luxury since the 1920s. Plus, the Landaulet, despite being kinda ugly, is actually pretty neat. I didn't realize it was 3X the price of the regular Maybach though.

It is not a traditional lease, you can walk into a dealership and purchase the vehicle outright. However Lexus will retain the title for two years. This is being done to try and stop the flipping of the vehicle. The two year restriction only applies in the US.

I think that the program is kinda cool. They take how much, where and how you drive into consideration? That's sweet because ti tells m e that they want it to be a drive car, not some rich guys showpiece. The lease will also let more car enthusiasts drive it. Win in my books..... you guys are just negative nellys.
