I must agree those older GTR's are amazing.
I can't believe NISSAN is doing this. You'd think that they would have taken care of all of this during the extremely long test of their car. Why wouldn't they put a beefier tranny and driveline in it? Everything about this car just keeps getting more insipid.

My response to my Nissan dealer if they told me that BS about the tranny would be the same as I told the dealer that sold me a new Oldsmobile in 1989..." If you don't take care of this fn problem I WILL drive it right throught your front window and leave it there". Needless to say they took care of me. : )
