GT-R is a legendary nissan brand, i understand why they did what they did. but you are right, it would have been much better as an owner to deal with infiniti versus nissan dealerships. only downside is they would have had to make it as wacky looking as the current infiniti lineup.

Yep, think Honda NSX vs Acura NSX. From a profit standpoint, ditch tradition and market it with an Infiniti badge and it certainly would have sold better. Oh and change the looks of front and sides (and maybe the rear)

That joke was funny about a week ago.
Nothing wrong with this car -- going strong for me -- I like the way it looks and my P-Car Turbo just sits in the garage.

this car is insanely fast. and my dealer has been very good to me in maintaining it -- gave me a new front lip, car cover, etc. -- all pro bono.

I believe I received one of the first of these cars and have had no problems to date.
