LOL! yea, those blisters, but once that callous builds up, golden.

Isn't it wild how you feel after running in these things? I used to HATE running because it always felt like an ass whooping afterwards. But running in VFF's, the way the body was intended to run is invigorating, and feels like an actual solid workout.

Getting very tempted to try a pair. My REI dividend just came in and I could cash it out to get a pair .......... hmmm.

Just finished the WOD. 9 rounds as Rx'd and would have had 10 rounds, but I was 4 pushups and 15 box jumps shy.

Mine was 7 bucks. I guess I need to step it up! Those Vibrams look ridiculous, but if they would keep me from getting shin splints, I'd wear them.

I just checked mine, thanks to you and Ben posting about REI. I have about $75 to play with, so I might buy the new Merrell "Barefoot" running flats.

Yesterday

Warm up with a run/sprints then

- Set/Step 1: 1 pullups/2 pushups/3 situps/3 box jumps
- Set/Step 2: 2 pullups/4 pushups/6 situps/6 box jumps
- Set/Step 3: 3 pullups/6 pushups/9 situps/9 box jumps
- Set/Step 4: 4 pullups/8 pushups/12 situps/12 box jumps
- Set/Step 5: 5 pullups/10 pushups/15 situps/15 box jumps
- Set/Step 6: 6 pullups/12 pushups/18 situps/18 box jumps
Then reverse back through starting at 6.

Warm up wtih 7 min on the bike, then some more running and sprints

5 sets of burpees x10
5 sets of squats with a medicine ball, throwing at the top. x10

I just bought a pair of the Merrell True Runners. I can't wear the VFF's, so these should work for me as well, in addition to the Innov8's I already work out in.
