I like Tim Ferris. He knows his stuff on a lot of things it seems. However, there are a number of things which I find him to be a total slap dick on.

When I saw a vid of him swinging 100lbs KB I laughed. It's kind of like curling and throwing your back into the curl. Anyone can swing a bunch of weight around.

I am a big fan of diversity. However when I want to add muscle mass/size quickly, I do olympic lifts.

Never hurts to diversify

Like I mentioned about I don't think that's the flaw in the methodology. I also don't see how one requires more "skill" than the other. The larger issue is the KB weight did not increase over the period of time like the olympic weight did, which biases the study.
It always hurts to change from a winning concept!

How can you know what wins and what doesn't if you always do the same thing?

I'm happy where I'm at and I like my routine, not trying to play ninja and start swinging weights around just to try something new

That's all that matters. The KB's are good for a variety of things.

Kind of like eating 6 meals a day vs. 3. If you like planning your life around your diet instead of diet around life more power to you.

The nastiest shit in my opinion still involves core and balance, a la pistol squat, one leg deadlift, etc.

I have an idea. I would like to see a modified version of Crossfit, called the "get really fvcking jacked and have great form 100% of the time" variant

I only do curls. Typically 7,000-10,000 per day ........ sometimes I do my left arm too. You should see my 6-pack.

that looks like some proper dieting there...
but I think you should not be all that "hardcore" immediately...throw in some "feel good" foods every now and then in the beginning because by going from 100 to zero in no time might give you massive food cravings up to the point where you dream of it at night and then you might give up rather frustrated...just a thought...
some are of course totally ok with such a sudden change and last through it,but many don`t
props for your efforts anyway!!
keep it up
