UPDATE:

With my race approaching in 1 week from tomorrow i have turned my workouts down to let my body rest a little and just maintain this final week. Sunday the 29th i will take part in the Tough Mudder here in the Philly Area. Its around 12 miles with multiple challenges along the way including swimming in ice cold water, monkey bars over water, army crawls in the mud, and a lot more. I am sure many of you know it - and have done it. For me it will be a HUGE challenge as i have never done anything like this nor have i ever run in any race longer than a 10k.

My goal was to run a 10 mile run in under a 100 minutes prior to the Mudder --- and 2 weeks ago i ran 10 miles in 90 minutes. So pumped.

My other goal was to weigh in on race day at 195 lbs. When i started training back in October i was 215. Today after the gym i weighed myself and came in at 195.8! I think with a good strict diet this week and a few light runs i can stay at 195 and be where i want to be.

Wish me luck!! I will be sure to post some info/pictures next week after the race is complete.

Cheers!

Cheat day is going nicely. I had a normal chicken breast/lentils breakfast, did a KB workout but I just ate a whole thin crust CPK BBQ chicken pizza, king sized M&Ms and a lo-carb monster. I'm literally euphoric, I was just dancing in my living room to LMFAO which entertains my son to no end. The video below perfectly describes my energy level!

LOL, some pasta and beer will finish it off for me tonight, then back to the strict stuff tomorrow.

You should try Anavite from Gaspari as your multi on your next round! Gaspari

haha, sounds like you enjoyed your cheat day

hats off for staying fairly clean for a cheat day..

If I ever cheat it`s always complete chaos..

e.g not thin crust BBQ chicken, but deep dish Pepperoni
not king sized M&Ms but strawberry cheesecake and ice cream
etc

They gave me a free sample bottle with my order. Is it better than Opti-men?
