probably not..sales contracts are a bit different from country to country..you would need to read it first.
Porsche will give this week an official info..hold your breath I can only say..

I would bet in the USA you get a new car or a check back from the dealer. Most people generally think they are victims and deserve more though in this country (as long as they don't have to work for it), so they would likely sue for damages and mental anquish.

It will be very interesting to see how Porsche handles this one. They don't want angry customers spreading the news to CNN or Fox, they'll have to act fast and make sure they satisfy their customers.

Here's some good news I picked up from another chat Forum site:
"Here is the official word from Porsche. Rumors arent all true....
There was a case with one car in Switzerland. Production was not stopped but there was a stop sale on the ones that are on their way to the US and in dealer inventory now.
The stop sale is on until each dealer inspects the GT3’s for any fault codes and once they pass they are ok for delivery.
We have to send the inspection results to Germany and once they say all clear we can release them."

I highly doubt Porsche sold the cars thinking there were "kinks" with the car. I just think that the 9A1 isn't good just yet. That's why they aren't racing the motor. It's not made for racing. It's a street motor. In the no so distant past, the street and race motors were very similar.
I had a very in depth conversation with some Porsche Heavies about what the actual difference was between the Cup Car and the 997.2 GT3 RS. Their answer was "hardly anything" and I was shocked. And sold.
