My ability to one day obtain the 997 4 liter car just because exponentially less likely.

I think that Porsche purposely tested PDK and Manual during 991 GT3 development. Now they wait for initial feedback from 991 GT3 owners. If they get great feedback, I think we can say goodbye to manual in RS models too. If they get so-so impressions from 991 GT3 owners, I am sure we will get manual in RS models!

Hi Milanno,

I wish/hope you are correct..but I doubt it. In the end the manual guys are a minority..and Porsche will rather opt for not serving these customers..and thus loosing some of them..rather then developing a car with manual box to serve some "old dinosaurs".

Mr AP from Porsche already made a clear statement..game over for manual in a GT3--once and forever..

Looks like the value of the 4.0 is going up as the last of the manuals.

well..even higher...I dont think so for now..they will jsut remain where they are...in 20 years I might be a different story though..by then indeed..they might have increased seriously..

Agreed. I dont think they shoot up they just hold value. 4.0 is a special car.

It is really difficult for Porsche to offer a gt3 rs with 2 gearbox , they have to change a lot of pieces around it , and it is difficult to have exactly the same set up.
