Ferrari as a racing team has much success in Formula 1, they use that and leverage it to market and sell us this shiny overpriced vehicle using sex appeal as a tactic and many other reasons why some MORONS are obsessed with a car manufacturer that takes your money and delivers a half assed put together car. I have been in most ferraris, and there are exceptions such as the enzo, f40, and a few more that can be debatable, but in all reality you are paying for the companies marketing department (pretty much the ferrari logo). Ferrari as a company spends so much money and time in marketing that they go as far as controlling specific publishings from car manufacturers. Same goes for Lamborghini which I believe is far worse than ferrari can ever be. The gt2 is priced perfectly for what it delivers, it is such a well put together vehicle. It drives more like a supercar than any of those other cars. I have put close to a 1000 miles on my gt2, and not a single one of those miles were driven lightly, meaning i was under wot and hard braking...... guess what the car drives like an animal still and nothing is wrong with it. Good luck to anyone who owns a ferrari or Lamborghini and drives the shit out of it, because the car will be in the shop 5 times atleast in one year. And if you dont drive the living crap out of it, then why did you purchase a vehicle that falls under the category of performance vehicle..... most likely because your an idiot who fell for whatever appeal that the car manufacturer wanted to implement. People will always purchase ferraris and lambos coz they are cool, but thats all they are. Nothing beats a porsche atleast from my experiences. If you are driver, stay away from pansy cars like ferraris
I agree and disagree with what you are saying here.
Yes, the GT2 is priced correctly for what it delivers. Many of the ferrari's do seem overpriced, and I have no interest at all in Lambo's. I have tracked the 458 and scud, so did my wife. We both felt that my GT2 was both faster and handled much better than either car. They did have a slightly higher fun factor but that might be the combination of instant and violent throttle response along with the amazing exhaust note. The GT2 wins in all the other categories. I drive my car 250 miles to a track event, then track it all day, and finally drive it all the way home with never a problem.
My neighbor had a ferrari 360 CS and hated it. Get a ferrari once to get it out of your system, but then just stick with porsche.
Even though I want a ferrari, I can't justify ever getting one. It just does not justify the costs for how useable it will be for me. I almost leased a SCUD or 458 for just 1 year and it would of cost me 70 to 80k, all costs included.

On the other hand a know a few ferrari owners that love their cars and will always get the next new model along with having other high end cars. I don't think they are morons for liking or buying them. It works for them as they have different needs and wants from their cars than I. Although I have been guilty of thinking people as morons for buying cars that I feel are crap.

I think I'm ruined after the gt2. I am yet to drive something that I feel is on the same level. Everything feels so slow and sluggish, and all other brakes feel inferior. Haven't driven the mp4 yet, but I'm hearing good things.

I also love the GT2 crew of people.....which is very small...like the CGT guys. Its almost like a club for those who CAN afford the flashier cars - but decide to get the car they really love and know suits their lifestyle. Hope i can join in one day....as i am on my 5th Porsche in 5 years ---maybe in a few more years a 997 GT2 will sit in my garage

i had a gt2 and when i sold it i had to get a cup car lol. anyways if you wanna track it hard get 18's it annd solid suspesion setup. it was nearly as fast as a 2007 cup with slicks and it was on r6's. i would drive it on the street with r6's and it wasnt overkill even in LA . when i sold it i clocked over 25k miles.

Lol

Congrats on your GT2!

Guys,

what are the primary mods for cooling purposes in order for longer track time without causing heat damage. I ordered the rs intercoolers, anything else??
