Well done..you and the car deserve a rest now.

What has disappointed me, until shortly before the end, Porsche was in good position for a podium..even led the race for some time..but now we have nothing.

anybody know what happened there? I didnt follow it minute by minute..also the live streaming had a problem.

congrats to you again..but a sad day for Porsche Motorsport..

I was there yesterday from about 9:30am to 8:30pm. It was my first major race and first time ever shooting a night race. I had infield/garage and Porsche Hospitality tickets thanks to my work, Suncoast Motorsports.

Here's the first shot from me. Not too bad for a night-time rookie

PS: I've got shots of the Park Place car but this one was too good to not post first

yes..also since Porsche turned the fastest lap..so all this talking.."not competetive anymore"...but one needs to finish a race first..a fastest lap doenst help.

But they have been agian unlucky..for the moment Audi is swimming on a wave of luck..but ist like that.

Porsche should have - diversified their fuel strategy, one team staying out, one back in for refuel..

Well, lets hope that for Le Mans something can be done..

I don't want to be disrespectful, but your post is a crazy comment. You need to sit in the pits and deal with strategy and make decisions instantly that are effected by cautions you can only "hope" will happen timely, etc. There are so many factors and things out of your control in 24 hours that decisions can only be made as best as possible. And Porsche is not involved in ANY of those decisions, nor will a team be listening to them. Porsche is only there as a support vehicle to the people wanting to race their cars. I'm shocked people get this impression sitting on the couch watching a race. I could write a 500 page book on just the variables associated with decisions and also the differences in Grand Am rules relating to various cars and HP, etc.

To win this race is special. Very special. It takes 24 hours of good driving and lots of lucky decisions and luck on the track to get to the finish line in first.
