RSS: Project Black Jack

Black Jack came to RSS as a stock GT3. The owner was looking to significantly improve the performance of the vehicle while keeping the car understated in terms of appearance.

Upgrade Program:

-Suspension: RSS Tarmac Stage 2
Tarmac Series Lower Control Arms (Part # 356 & 357)
Tarmac Series Front Bump Steer Kit (Part # 370)
Tarmac Series Rear Toe Steer kit with Lock Out Plates (Part # 312 & 333)
Tarmac Series Rear Upper Links (Part # 307)
RSS Corner Balance and Alignment

-Braking System
Girodisc 350mm Rotors Drilled and Slotted
Girodisc Stainless Steel Brake Lines
Motul RBF 660 Brake Fluid
Pagid RS29 Yellow Pads

-Coilovers: KW 3-Way Clubsports

-Transmission:
Upgraded to Guard Transmissions 4.125 Ring and Pinion
Changed gear ratios for better torque and acceleration (Top Speed: 172)
Upgraded LSD 40/60

-Engine Tuning:
Tarmac Series Engine Mounts (Part #624)
EVOMSit (Tuned for hi-flow exhaust and left foot braking)
BMC Air Filter

-Exhaust System:
Cargraphic Kit 6 Exhaust System

-Wheels and Tires:
Black HRE P44SC
Custom Black Porsche Center Caps

The black looks fantastic. My black 4.0 is a chore, but I love it. What wax do you use?
I use Pinnacle.

RSSmike, Very nice & rare black GT3 w/ exceptional upgrades.
RSS products are top notch & I'm considering the Tarmac series of upgrades also.

Does the 4.125 ring/pinion make a big difference in acceleration?
Also, does the LSD have new internals from Guard?

Thanks for the kind words Nan,

The Tarmac Series Suspension upgrade makes a significant difference in the overall handling dynamics of the chassis, regardless of stock or aftermarket dampers. Depending on your particular performance goals you can choose between the Tarmac stage 1 or stage 2 package.

The Ring and Pinion really wakes up the car even with the stock gear ratios. There is a noticeable increase in torque and acceleration. The LSD upgrade does have the Guard internals.
