Clk black series - what a project!!!!!!!!!

Not much more to say except, this is one sick project.

PRESTIGE DIAMOND FUSION WINDSHIELD PROTECTION FILM

Prestige Film Technologies knocked this one out of the ballpark. We had used / tested Clearplex for Madico when it was first released and did not last in our tests. For Prestige's Diamond Fusion, we began testing this product in 2009 and up until recently did we get the green light to carry / install this product. (we spent over 15000 miles on our company vehicles as test vehicles and this windshield protection film got the thumbs from our techs here). More durable than the other windshield protection film by Clearplex (in our opinion) and its optical clarity can only be categorized as super clear. Some of the benefits:

*4 mils thick with tougher hardcoat
*resistant to windshield wiper scratches
*99.5% UV rejection
*protects from road debris, rock chips, etc.

FULL VEHICLE SATIN GUARD™

Satin Guard is a product that is much thicker than conventional vinyl. No, it is not matte as matte vinyl leaves a very dull and unfinished look. Satin Guard™ is a protective film that creates a nice satin finish and has the DualTone™ Technology built into it to offer two different sheens based on lower / brighter lighting conditions. Satin Guard™ protects like conventional paint protection film (clear bra) and does not affect OEM paint, which means it can be removed at a later time without affecting your factory paint.

9500Ci LASER JAMMER SYSTEM

This is the Rolls Royce of laser jamming and radar detection by Passport. By deflecting the laser signal, it will allow ample time to slow the vehicle down to a legal speed. What makes our install unique is how we integrate it to OEM parts of the vehicle to essentially make it a part of the car.

Many of these installs are visible to the naked eye from even at 5 feet away. Our specialty is to install these units without it looking like it is aftermarket; yet, will not affect its performance.

DIAMOND CUT IR NANO TINT
This film has been around for some time. The newer technology surpassing ceramics, this film will reject 94% of infrared rays, which ultimately means a cooler interior for your vehicle. Coupled with UV rejection at 99.5%, this product is designed for the luxury / exotics of today.

*shade chosen for this CLK63 Black Series - 63% Windshield and 50% Sides / Rear
*infrared rejection at 94% compared to conventional window tint at 40%-50% and ceramic tint at 70%-80%

Continuing the madness!!!! More photos of the Diamond Fusion windshield protection film. The film needs to be heat shrunk, but at 4 mils thick and a pretty tough hardcoat, it is a challenge even for the most experienced window tinter. Some have questioned the need for windshield protection film and here are some reasons:

*retention of OEM installed windshield
*windshield is a safety item on the vehicle and if it is damaged by road debris, this will need to be replaced
*millions of windshields are replaced every year, but there is very little regulation on how it is installed. If the windshield is not installed properly, structural integrity (roof rigidness) and the ability for the airbag to properly protect and deploy is severely affected

Outdoor photos of Diamond Fusion windshield protection film! There is also an added tint (Diamond Cut IR Nano Tint) on the inside at 63% for the windshield. Just a few tidbits more information on the windshield protection film:

* 4 mils thick
* hardcoat is tougher than Clearplex
* takes approximately 15 days to fully dry and cure (longer if vehicle is stored indoor)
* 2 year / 20,000 mile warranty from bubbling, fading, peeling, purpling, and cracking
