I always had great luck with corsas. I found Pilot Cups to be far to temperature temperamental and never really gave me anything I was happy about. Plus, they are ridiculously expensive for what they are IMHO. I love normal PS3s for the road though, and I LOVE their slicks...just not their middle ground.

Don't confuse corsa r tyres with trofeo.
Trofeo replaced corsa r, which many view as a bad move.
Others have not has as bad experience as me with trofeos but mine was awful. Soft, dangerous and a total waste of money.

I hear the R888 are good for the price but they're very noisy.
