Arrow New GT3 at Nurburgring (PDK or not?)

Sounds to me like there is no doubt a PDK transmission at least on this mule.

a 991 GT3 with a 9A1 engine and a PDK is not a GT3. VW can put the badge on it, they can make it fast, but it will never be a GT3.

A GT3 needs a race engine and a race proven transmission, nothing less. Then, some geometry adjustments in the suspension, big brakes, brake cooling ducts, light body panels, light muffler, and a few aero tricks, that makes a GT3.

if the upcoming GT3 is PDK only it will be the final nail in the coffin of the manual transmission.

seems idiotic as porsche developed a new 7 speed for lesser carreras.

regardless, the 4.0 will then be the last true drivers porsche and, as a result, will be rightfully coveted for all time.

I saw that, too.

Not that it doesn't bear repeating, though.
