Usually we always have similar opinions...but who was complaining when the 997 came out??

It was seen as a big relief after the 996..- or?

By the way, 991 will not be there before summmer 2013, customer delivers will be in the late year..if not 2014 for most cutsomers..for US thats sure anyway...

At the initial debut of the 997 there was a lot of complaints. Some said it's too luxurious, they hated the "clock" (sport chrono) on the dash, it isn't as focused as the 996, it doesn't have as classic a feel as the 996, there's no power upgrade for the base model, and it's ugly, and no where near as aggressive as the 996. Everybody hated the variable steering as well. Check forums that were around during the debut of the 997 if you don't believe me. It wasn't until a little while until people most saw it as a relief.

The funny thing is that some of the people that posted those bad things about the 997 had a picture of their 997 as their avatar.
