No 991 GT3 RS !!! Rumour or not ?

Yes, the rumour is a bit premature...but I know people working for engine supplier parts her in Germany - they also make parts for 991 - and have been making parts for 997 GT3 too. From them I have heard that the 991 GT3 will be the last GT3 Porsche will make...plus I know of some engine 9A1 GT3 details too..but thats a different story..
So - yes maybe premature...but the worrying thing is there are more and more of these things appearing ..

I might add, personally, I fully support the "rumor mill" and the discussions that follow when it comes to future car models.
Why do people get so uptight about this? I would pay to have carmakers check threads like this. Talk about customer desire, feedback & future product ideas... Its been said that it already happens.
I wish that carmakers could give us more info on their future models & plans, but also understand why they cannot. What I can't stand to hear is "WE WON'T" or "WE CAN'T" and then they do the opposite to increase sales.
Also, I would rather that Porsche take their time and blow us all away with the future Turbo, GT3 & GT2 models. I've always wondered why there has to be a "base" GT3 and an "RS" model anyway. Shouldn't the GT3 "just be" the RS spec anyway, or vice versa? I digress...
I CAN wait until 2014, or 2015 - but I also can't wait - know what I mean?

So cool to trash a fan who heard a rumour however silly and comes to the best place he can think of (the real fans and passionate) to share his concerns...the spirit of companionship...love it
Rumours dont have sources and they become rumours when enough people discuss them...no more RS is spreading around some european sites it seems...rationale is Porsche rather starts betting on a mini 918 (960ish) from now...no need for a new RS and Rickman like myself would be blessed because we ordered RS 4.0
Silly to most of us?...sure, we love the damn car...impossible?...not
So yes lets trash guys who come with interesting discussion topics for a change.
Rickman, thanks for starting this thread...definitely worth remembering once and if this develops into something serious...to pick on some of the guys who made comments there....it must be true as it is on the net lol

It was a simple question. Sorry if I hit your certainties.
However, even if I do not believe, porsche surprised us in recent years with some decisions that we would never have considered a few years earlier !
