Still doenst sound like a premature rumor to you?

Yeah I got that. This is a pointless post. Why in the world would anyone have this info now!? Ask it when the GT3 comes out. We still have to get the 991 coupe then the 991 cab then the 991C4 then the 991 Turbo then the 991 GT3 then MAYBE the 991 GT3RS. Not to mention all the other non 911 stuff like Boxster and Cayman and Cajun and whatever else.

So - yes maybe premature...but the worrying thing is there are more and more of these things appearing ..

Personally I don't mind early rumours as long as we are all in agreement that it's only speculation. Just because the probablility of truth behind the rumour is lower we should refrain from even discussing them completely? That's silly. If you don't believe in them fine, but some of us still find it entertaining and fun to discuss eventual future cars and share our thoughts and ideas.
If you don't want to read it, stay out of the thread.

A.) The GT and RS models have been nothing but PR gold for Porsche. Even if the company loses money on every one, they're worth twice their price in terms of the media attention and excitement the generate among car lovers.
B.) There's no way Porsche has fleshed out its plans for whatever generation comes after the 991 (the 992?) that firmly. A 992 GT3 would be at least ten years away. Heck, even a 991 GT3 RS would be at least three or four years away, and I bet the Porsche engineers could easily figure out how to turn a GT3 into a GT3 RS within 12 months.
If we reach a point where Porsche announces the 992 Carrera and we still haven't seen a 991 GT3 RS...then you can worry.

I heard there will be the 991 RS but it will not be imported into France. I read it on the internet so it's true.

Porsche will answer the 458 with something else. Until then, breath, eat some popcorn and wait...
we'll hear something about an RS maybe in the next year or so.
