Although I could not agree more, I believe the only yellowbird with the ducts is Alois Ruf's personal vehicle. The remaining 28 do not have the ducts. Gosh that car is scary especially on a wet day at the Ring! Lol

I think they purchase the shell from Porsche but everything else is all Ruf. Some cars like the CTR3 is all Ruf. I think a few years ago Porsche threatened them with a lawsuit butni don't know the background.

it wasn't in Germany!

long story short... new highway... highway patrol have new radar guns (big deal in a banana republic)... some phone calls later and a deal is made:

the coppers get to test out their new toys... and we get to test out our toys. someone gets "caught" (wink-wink nudge-nudge). the po-po get their picture taken with the cars... and everyone goes home happy!

(the cops radio'd ahead to make sure the highway was clear, or just about. i think i only saw 2 other cars in front of me the entire run)

That's just a tiny bit faster than how fast we went in a rTurbo. 213 mph. The feeling that one gets at those speeds is an absolute sense of surrealism.
