That is exactly the way it is, the 458 is much more fun around town and is more user friendly the GT cars are better for a spirited Sunday drive or the track.

Apples & oranges.... The 458 in race mode is sensational to drive but totally diifrent experience than the RS - my opinion, the RS is much more viceral and firmer on the track. The 458 in my opinion is an amazing street machine, quieter, softer riding and much more comfortable. Having driven both for long a long drive (several hours) 458 is much more comfortable more akin to a PDK turbo or (as I put it the poor man's 458 Carrera GTS)
