Value difference between 04 and 05 Carrera GT

All things being equal and the only difference between two CGTs is ones an 04 and the other being an 05 is there any price difference between the two?

Cheers

Any price difference between the two? Surely. How much? I don't know. It's hard to tell [for me] because 1) I can only see asking prices, not selling prices, and 2) there aren't enough cars for sale to find two that are identical other than the year. Color, miles, and service history are obviously the biggest indicators of price. But any list of CGTs for sale in order by price is pretty uniform, 2005s being at the top.

I believe it might have had something either to do with the ECU or the clutch. I;m not very sure, but it is something that Porsche did not like to admit.

I would think miles are more important than year. A CGT is a CGT!

I was told there is a difference in the ECU and also early 04 cars had the first gen PCCBs. As for price, I think $20K+ for an 05 compared to an 04. Just my $.02.

this is pretty darn close.

ecu's were updated by Porsche in most 04's though.
Newer year does command about 20-30k more.

I'm fairly ceratin the ECU difference is fiction.

Regarding PCCB's all the cars have the early version of PCCB as there is only one part number variant for the rotors.
