Centerlocks & Tire Repairs

Centerlocks & Tire Repairs
I was the lucky recipient of a large screw lodged in a rear tire today, so tomorrow morning I'll be off to get it repaired (it's holding the tire pressure, thankfully).
Question is: since I've got CLs, do I really need to head to the dealer, or can a reputable tire shop (NTB, Firestone, etc) handle it? What I'm most concerned about it their ability to properly remove and install the wheel given the torque requirements for the CLs.
I figured since there are many more people with CLs in this category, I'd ask here.

Also, don't have it plugged. That's not a car to ride around with a plugged tire in. So you will need a new tire or tires depending on mileage and wear so you need to go somewhere that keeps those tires in stock. I highly doubt Firestone or NTB N-Rated tires or the torque wrench to properly torque those wheels.

I agree, it would be too much of a gamble to try places other than the dealership to remove the CLs.
There was a thread a little while back talking about what type of torque wrench to purchase to remove them yourself but unless you're experienced with it I personally wouldn't even risk going anywhere else.

I just got back from the dealer and couldn't be happier. Luckily the screw wasn't cutting into the sidewall, so the dealer was able to patch from the inside.
In the end I decided to take to the dealer for a couple of reasons:
1) CLs: I wanted to make sure I had people working on them that had the correct tools to do the job right, and the experience to get them torqued to spec.
2) Dealer/Porsche 'Signoff': If the dealer service department will patch it, then I'll feel better about driving on it. Now, if the dealer had tried to tell me that I needed 2 tires, then I would have considered other options. But that wasn't the case. The Service Advisor was very friendly and professional and did me right.
Although I bought my car in FTW at Autobahn, I didn't want to drive way over there (40 miles) for this. I also realize that most of my maintenance will probably be done at Boardwalk in Plano or Park Place in Dallas. In either case, I have established relationships with both dealerships and want to maintain my relationship as a customer for future service and purchases. Since BW is closer, I headed there this morning. Isaac was first class in helping me out, so kudos to him.
And while I was there, I was lucky enough to see a CGT that had just completed a $250K REPAIR job (owners son decided to take it out on a rainy day). Apparently just one of the front CF parts was $55K alone. What an awesome car...just not one to drive aggressively on slick public roads. They also had a white Speedster in the showroom. I'll be honest: it looks SO MUCH BETTER in person. I love those massive exhaust tips in the rear.
Thanks all for your thoughts!

The kid probably stuffed it into something damaging some of the front CF parts.
