Bike in for repairs ...

No I didn't crash. Only the bike did. While parked.

I'm going to work this morning, as usual. Park the bike behind a pansiemobile Pacifica. I hate that, but no choice. As I'm getting off the bike, the guy comes up, walks between the bike and his car, and gets in.
"oh good, at least this one won't crash into it"
Go across the street ... you guessed it, BADANG!
Stupid retarded motherf*ckin twunt of a douchejerker butt bandit toppled the bike over ... enough to go over the kickstand.
The headlight is scratched, so is the front cowling, tank is dented, handlebars bent, flasher pulverized, rear fairing scratched as well as muffler.
Good job cornhole.
And better yet, he gives me shit for parking behind him. FYYFF. We exchanged info and blah blah blah.
At first he was like "well, maybe we don't need to involve insurance" ... the tank alone 850$, still wanna pay up? Did I mention the 300$ headlight? and 500$ muffler? Quickly looked it over and there would be app 2100$ in parts (OEM overprice, obviously ...).

Bringing the bike in for an estimate tonight. Insurance better not screw me over, and I hope it doesn't total the bike!

Yes yes, "pics or it didn't happen" ... tonight.

Ouch!!! Always scares me to park behind cars... If I do I leave them plenty of room, and write down there license plate numbers just in case.

That's the kicker.

I parked at the edge of the parking zone, as far away as possible behind the car.

Douchebag goes "you're illegally parked"

Retard twuntwaffle! I park at the furthest point of the parking zone to give you the most space, in hope you don't run into my bike like you did!

Anyways.

Stopped by the dealer for an estimate.

I think an excerpt of the conversation is enough
- so it may be a total loss?
- eeeeesh, if it's not, it's borderline. Call me tomorrow I'll have the exact numbers.
- sh!t.

I am beyond furious with bad drivers at this point it can't even be explained. Especially since some dumb broad cut me off twice within 30 seconds on my way back. Alright, where's the bar in this damn place?

If it's that close, better get a total loss and move on.

If there think it might be a total lose, then keep your fingers crossed it is... The bike will never ride the same again, and will prob have issues from here on out. Good Luck, and I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

Yeah, I dunno if I want to deal with the whole total loss insurance haggling. We'll see.

Actually, it probably will ride the same, it's only cosmetics. I mean, every single panel has been hit (even the front fender!!!!!!!!) which is why the price is so astronomical.
There again, it does ride funny, most likely due to the bent handlebars.

Any Electrical, or Starting Problems? If there is no Frame Damage, then its will still be fixable, but at what cost.....
