I've heard the same thing.
Usual rumours say that the new 991 has a longer wheelbase to make it a more confortable car.
This modification would not be just the best thing to do an eventual news GT3...
Despite all this I think they will not stop making it...

As a footnate, all 4.0 RS's must be deliverd in the States before Dec 31st due to exhaust regs. This shores up the fact we have change coming. More reason to get one (after they double in price

)
