Looking for 4.0 RS allocation
#21
Nobody in the US that reads these forums and does their homework (and is willing to source from other parts of US) should pay over MSRP. I tracked down an allocation at MSRP and I'm aware of another available. PM if you're serious and I will put you in touch with the dealer.

Oh I don't know about that. Not everyone could care if they pay over sticker. I'm willing to bet a lot of money there's people YOU know who have paid over sticker for cars.
I personally wouldn't but that's just me.

But what surprises me is that OPD do that too...

all this talk about not selling over MSRP....what ever happened to the basic laws of supply and demand? I mean would anyone here denounce a dealer for selling under MSRP when demand is low??? If someone wants to buy your car for more than you paid are you going to tell them no because its not "fair"?
you can't go against the very basic laws of economics...they will always prevail. Cars get sold at market price and thats it.
I don't understand who gets "hurt" in this situation either other than the person who pays over MSRP...

FWIW I was just at Auto Gallery and word is they're getting 4 cars (2 black, 2 white) and will be selling them at 15 over. I wonder how many BH and Rusnak (and maybe Downtown LA???) are getting and how much over they're going to go.

I agree. Are we supposed to always pay the "Suggested" price even if we know we can get a discount? If not, then why are dealer supposed to always sell it at the "suggested" price when they know they can get more? Doesn't seem fair. I think if a dealer chooses to do so for their own principles or for their VIP customers for business reasons, that is fine. However, it hardly seems fair we expect them to discount when the market justifies it but they can't charge a premium when the same market allows it.
