I would have preferred it to be a coupe...maybe this would have brought the price down a little...

also what do you think those replacement Hybrid Batteries are going to cost every 3yrs? +100k or more?

I guess if you have 845k for it you could care a less what the batteries are going to cost...

Good point....does anyone know the cost's associated with this type of hybrid system? My CGT has 11k miles and the only thing that I have ever needed is 2 batteries, 3 radios, and an alternator.

3 Radio's? Seems me your dealer isn't finding the short.

Why would it need a battery in 3 years? The Cayenne doesn't. The Panamera won't. Maybe half you guys should stop making asinine assumptions and wait till you get info and facts.

Well, there is that. However there are other dynmaics at play here, which I'll go into but not here. I will say this; for the amount of influence Forums have (Porsche reads them) even more folks do NOT go on forums. Even to this day. I'll even be as bold to say that most people who buy Porsche could care less what's online. That's just based on my observation. Having said that, more often then not- a Porsche buyer is more 'net savvy' then say, a Mercedes or BMW buyer.

It is, what it is.

If the car doesn't get driven often enough and the battery isn't on a tender, I can see that happening.

Around here where all the nice cars/bikes are in storage for 5-6 winter at a time, a battery lasting 3 years is the norm.
