Mclaren MP4 Vs. Carerra GT.

This is kind of a silly comparison. Apples to Oranges as stated above.
IMHO, the CGT is in the ultra-exclusive supercar group that includes the CGT, Enzo, F40, F50, Veyron, K-egg, Zonda and of course the king of them all, the F1.
The MP4 is in the same league as the 458, Gallardo LP/SL, R8 V-10, Scuderia, GT2RS, etc. Anyone of those would make for a much more applicable "which would you rather have" thread.

I like Mclaren SLR because MB quality, with all respect for Mclaren i don´t think the quality will be the same in MP4.
I just bought a black CGT -2006 without thinking twice

This thread has played out pretty much the same way posting on a Mustang forum and asking about getting the new Camaro would.
Props to those who see the comparison as apples and oranges. Of course the Carrera GT is a very special car for all the right reasons, but the 12C has its merits too and in another venue I don't think we'd see such a one-sided poll and responses.
One more point - I don't think there's a single person here who has driven the 12C yet. I understand having a strong philosophical aversion to clutch pedal-less transmissions (I am actually allergic to automatics myself
) but I think many will be very impressed by the 12C when they do finally get the chance to give it a go. I know quite well that speed isn't everything, but I also believe the 12C will be showing the CGT its taillights when they line up side-by-side.
That's my .02¢

^ Very well said. Your replies are filled with epic win, I do to feel the same way except idk how the drive may "feel", some say it feels like you're driving a boat and some say it's like a banshee ready to let loose. Do you know anything Peloton that you could chime?
