^LOL. Both good points. A well optioned GT2 RS is about $265k in the US. A well optioned MP4 is over $300k with comparable carbon. I don't know on 458 as I have yet to order one.

Relative to what a GT3RS can offer me as a high intermediate track driver, the GT2RS is overpriced. One day, if I can extract more than 90% the capability of my 3RS on the track, then I am willing to pay more for the 2RS.
For street driving, both 2RS and 3RS are overpriced.

a well equipped 458 will also be about 265, 270 tops. Not with tons of carbon, which adds up, but with all the key options: LED carbon wheel, carbon racing seats, 20" sports wheels and a few other interior and exterior goodies.
