On top of this, the 12c will eat the 2RS at the track, that much is clear from the raw numbers. And that was supposed to be the 2RS's forte with all the noise they made about their 'ring time.

AND it makes a great engine sound, while the 2RS has the noise of a vacuum cleaner. AND it rides like a mercedes when used around town.

So rationalize it however you want, fact is McLaren just OWNED Porsche at the 250k price point and the timing of the deliveries of the 2RS was just unfortunate for those that couldn't get to see those reviews before paying for their cars. Car is a dinosaur on the first day it is released ..

Flame on.
Maybe. Maybe not. I'm sure there will be a bunch of guys on here who will have one. I might be one of 'em. I'm also very intrigued by the 2RS, but not at 275.

Time will tell once we have some guys on here putting miles on each. Some of the reviews of McLaren have suggested it's a little sterile, like the GT-R.

I'm not sure you can call a 600 hp 2RS a dinosaur unless you've plunked down the dough, driven it and discarded it.

Only time will tell.

You're not a 911 buyer. Some people are as you can tell here.

What you have to understand is that different people want different things for their 250k. It's not all about performance for everyone. Not to mention the numbers are probably close enough that it's negligible for the average buyer. In fact, track numbers are somewhat irrelevant unless YOU know how to make the car perform that way (hint: you're probably arguing with some people who may know a thing or two about driving).

Personally I think the 12C is bland looking. I'd never spend 250k on it. I wouldn't spend 75k on it. I also would never spend 250k on a 911. Does that mean I'm right and everyone else is wrong? Absolutely not.

I hope you realize there are better ways to utilize this site than come into a thread as a newbie and trash the car that the thread is about. Your argument is tired and the same one will be applicable when Ferrari releases the new Scuderia, and so on.

Haha, I wasn't trying to sound harsh in my previous statement. It was more in a humorous light.

I've already ordered mine JC. It goes into build end of the year, might receive it before then - I have to keep the tradition going, where we get to take delivery before the American continent does

OHH no I was being sarcastic. You're more than entitled to be 'harsh' on this clown'.
