I have sat in them a million times yea they are tight. But they are supposed to be. I LOVE them!!!

 

MOst serious car guys that bought GT2RS's are less concerned with any depreciation...they will enjoy their cars and hang on to them for a long time. I suspect there will be some depreciation but not as dramatic as the standard 997.1 GT2 or 996 GT2.

The fact that they limited the number to 500 is good...they also priced it at the max amount, as evidenced by not a lot of action over msrp.

Stunning performer with factory 600+hp = Long term winner methinks.

I know 2 RS owners counting me. You sorta missed that one.

I say it hits $200k in a year. They made the same amount of 997.1 GT2's prox. Of course, the economy helped that problem. I hope it fixes.

 

Limited, numbered, edition/Unique engineering/Incredible performance I think will put and keep a floor under prices for much longer than GT2. Having experienced the car the only people selling will be flippers and those experiencing financial difficulties.

I would sell my Spyder and GT3RS if it were necessary to keep this one.

You might be right Cole, but I think values stay well above $200k.

 

I hope I am wrong. I just have experience with 2 other GT2's. I know economy played a part in the 08 deal.

 

For you guys that just got your GT2RS you better check to see if there is a 30 day return policy because based on the reviews coming out on the McLaren 12C that car is going to annihilate all competitors on track and on street.

And for the same money as the RS you would have to be mental to not get one instead.
