Is it too late in the game for the GT3RS now??

not GT3 specifically, but i dont want to be caught with an old model when the new one is out next year.
remember the 996??! it doesnt even come close to the 997.
im sure the next normal model is miles ahead of the old 997, judging by all the money they made and technology improvements. A 997 RS would be just as fast as the next carrera S.
sad but true.

You guys realize that allcations in Asia are vastly different that it is in the US, right? They don't have sprawling lots full cars left over like here in the States.
Get the car, enjoy it now. Or of Porsche does come out with another version, place a deposits and wait and see.
Or do both.

The next generation GT3RS is not around the corner.... so if thats what you are worried about, don't worry and get the car.
If its price then just look at your funds and decide if you can or cannot
Is the RS a great car? YES!!!
Is it for you, I don't know... was it not you who was complaining about the noise level in the Scuderia?

see! i love all the opinions and info we can get on this forum.
i dont like my scud's lack of carpeting, which the RS has.
im not sure why i would get a RS now, but maybe to replace my 996 GT2 finally.

An updated opinion: I think it's only too late when the next gen GT3 RS starts development. So, you still probably have another year before it starts development. So, go for it. Then further down the road you can trade it in.
