Looks stunning on the CGT!
My fathers 356 was originally Fashion Grey but he's going with another period correct blue for the restoration
I was on the keep her original bandwagon

SL55K: In my twenty + years in the 356 hobby, the only true 'Mode Grau' I ever saw was John Paterak's 1952 America Roadster. It was a true match from the original interior 'Mode Grau' bits on a very original, low mileage car.

America Roadster 12317

The so-called 'Fashion Grey' Speedster in your photo looks to me like 'Stone Grey', which is not 'Mode Grau' and has a more green tint to it. Regards, z356

Puzzling to see that car for sale...it belonged to Cal Turner III, heir to the Dollar Store empire and an avid car collector. Car was special ordered by him to be part of his excellent Porsche historic collection.

Unique colour in person...not my cup of tea, but I can see its appeal to certain tastes

He also sold that blue Ruf 997 with the riveted fender flares....

At 415, it's not really for sale.
