I think by "safe" he actually means "safe" to drive for the average driver. With the exception of the Carrera GT every other Porsche has always been very "safe" with the power/torque the factory delivers them with, which makes the GT2RS even more remarkable that 620PS can be safe...... I guess limiting the torque to 700NM is key here keeping good traction in many conditions.

i'm a contributor. but its the Philippines edition of TopGear note! licensed from the BBC, but NOT the UK one! so don't ask me to say what a pr*ck or a genius (depending on your POV) Clarkson is, because he doesn't know me from Adam!
