Hesperus, great post, awesome to read. For your question, I have read two articles in GT Purely Porsche that mentioned rose jointing in the GT3 RS, but can't find anything in porsche's literature proving/disproving this.

i think my failure to notice more of a difference was due to the driving conditions.

i believe that: a) on a track, given equal drivers; and b) on a wide open road or highway, the 2RS would be noticeably quicker.

i suppose its up to each of us to decide for ourselves if the difference-- which requires specific conditions to be meaningful-- AND/OR the exclusivity of this limited edition car, are worth the extra coin.

P-car fanbois will love it of course (and i'm one of them). Though i can also see why the non-"faithful" will just yawn
