2010 GT3 Front Lift Malfunction

Hi all,

I was wondering about my front axle lift system in my 2010 GT3. The nose goes up normally when I press the button. The button lits but the message "Lift" next to the digital speedometer doesn't show at all when it's up. It was showing on the earlier days but not anymore.

The real issue here is in the manual it says that when you press the button again, it should go down to normal position and never park it when it's up. Unfortunately I can't lower it unless it drive beyond 50 Km/h.

Shall I be concerned about it or this is normal?

Thanks.

No big deal IMO but ask your dealer. I park mine nose up all the time. If you leave it up for several days, it might lose air , but nothing bad happens to the lift.

Same here, But I don't leave the lift on when parked. I just ignore it when it happens and drive over 50 to lower it.

I often forget to lower mine. Not had a problem.
Dash should say lift though and of course it should lower when you press the button.
As others says should be fixable though.

There's a stupid ramp in front of my garage so I have to press the button everytime I need to park the car. And doing 50 km in my garage will result in a car kissing a wall..

thnx all for the replies. This thing can wait till service time..

Oh man! Still not fixed!!

This is really a faulty design in my opinion, as I read a lot of posts here and on Rennlist about this. I hope that Porsche eventually fixes this once and for all!

When I used to press LIFT on my car it took few seconds to raise the nose and alight the message.

I recall that if I wanted to lower it straigh-after, it could not work.
I had to wait few second after the message came out and then the car would go down in normal position...

Still have the issue. I discovered a leak at the rear of the car but not from the engine. Am dropping the car at the dealer soon to fix the lift issue as well. I read in rennlist that one owner had the same issue and got it fixed by disconnecting the battery for a full night. I might give it one last shot before dropping it at the dealer as am sure that those monkeys will fix one thing and destroy another.
