2010 GT3 Front Lift Malfunction
#31
It is the coil springs moving about when turning. The Owner's Guide makes a point of saying "no worries" about strange suspension noises when lifted.
Let us know what part gets replaced to correct the failure to release the lift feature.
My dealer replaced what I thought was the entire mechanism about a year ago. I've had a couple of failures since then and hope it doesn't be come constant again. If it does, it would be good to know what solved your issue --especially since I am now out of warranty.
Thanks!

Interesting your point about the coil springs twisting- that makes sense to me as the twanging noise comes at a low parking speed as I turn the wheel.
The GT3 has been garaged. Only able to be pulled out to idle when snowplow has cleared driveway during last month or so... Weather here in PA has been rough lately! I will reschedule service appointment ASAP and report back.
