I would rather DD a Turbo than DD a POS and have a GT3 on the weekends. Makes the run of the mill day a little more fun.
That would be ideal...if even remotely possible. Unless the market has turned to utter feces and I missed it, a comparable TT will demand a higher price (by several thousand) than a GT3 (even if 'lightly' modded).

I'd go the light truck/mid-size suv route if I were you. Maybe something like a used trailblazer or ranger would actually go well with your GT3 as a work car/DD.

I'm considering all options, including the yours. Where I sell the GT3 and buy something outright that leaves me with 0 payments.

Either way, no offense was taken and thanks for all the input guys
Glad you understand, which is all that matters in this thread. What exactly is your budget for a DD? Think that would help with narrowing down the suggestions.

Only way to go Chris Either Meteor or Ibis white. And I doubt I'll be able to find Ibis anywhere these days.

Just sayin'.....
No worries. Much like what JC stated, it was a combo of a bit of crankiness on my part coupled with (incorrectly) interpreting a comment that seemed both insulting and way too obvious that was directed at thedude, who happens to be a highly respected member, my Laker bro and someone who has always come across as someone who has their sh!t together. Sorry if I came across as harsh or offensive. That was certainly not my intent

Quite possible. I know a TT new is more than a GT3 (priced like an RS) but a few years old they caught up because the TT has much higher production #s. Could be off base and shouldn't post this stuff if I don't know.

Thedude.. post some pics!

cfdrumr is an unknown quantity at this point
depending on where you live in Hollywood, I would be scared to drive a gt3 PERIOD!

I have a good friend that lives up at the top of Nickols Canyon and it is a rough ride in my Subaru STi, let alone a GT3. I drove my friends' 09 C4S (PDK) last week for a few hundred miles (road trip!) and I have to say... it is the perfect car for a DD Porsche. PDK is flawless (or close to it) and the ride is not quite hard enough to break any bones... I loved it.

Yup... some of the roads in and around me are brutal.

Luckily Outpost drive just got repaved... that street used to look like Armageddon.
