I agree about cold tires and second gear being pretty scary if one stomps on the gas pedal. It happened to me, too, when I got tired of a fast-and-furious type car messing with me in 35-mph street traffic. I got about 30 degrees of yaw when I tramped the throttle, even with the TC on. It was about 55F outside and I had only just pulled out of my neighborhood half a mile back.

A fact of life in a Carrera GT is that it has so much more motor than almost any other car that one has to be very careful about how one manipulates the throttle.
